DAMIR GRBAVAC

Damir Grbavac retired at the end of 2021 from the position of Management Board President of Raiffeisen Mandatory and Voluntary Pension Funds Management Company, Zagreb.
Damir holds bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in business finance, both from Zagreb University. He was licensed pension fund manager and holds Croatian financial adviser’s certificate.
Before joining Raiffeisen Pension Funds team, he was Management Board president of Raiffeisen Securities, brokerage and M&A arm of Raiffeisen Group in Croatia and before that Investment Banking Executive Director in Raiffeisenbank Austria, Zagreb. In parallel, during the first 2 years with Raiffeisen Group, he was a Board member of Raiffeisen Investment, at that time corporate finance arm of the Group in Croatia.
He started his work career in Đuro Đaković Group in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. He held different positions there from credit executive in Group internal bank to deputy general manager of the Holding Company. .
He was member of the initial Administrative Council of Central Pension Register in Croatia, member of Croatian Agency for Supervision of Financial Services Council, Supervisory Board member of Zagreb Stock Exchange, Croatian Telecom and supervisory board member or president in some other Croatian companies. He was a member of working group of Croatian EU Accession Negotiating Team on financial services chapter.
Damir used to be part of Pension Funds Circle, unofficial expert group of pension funds’ managers across Europe, managing some 800 billion EUR in total.
Damir is actual Supervisory Board president in Podravka dd and Supervisory Board member in Raiffeisen Invest doo.
Damir is married and has 2 children.

ŽIGA VIŽINTIN

Žiga Vižintin is Advisor to the Management Board of Pokojninska družba A, d.d. pension fund in Slovenia with more than 10 years of senior management experience in the retirement industry. He combines the latest information technology and behavioral insights to deliver innovative products and services, with first-hand experience in designing modern retirement plans, life-cycle investment funds and annuities. He has a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science. During his career he gained extensive knowledge of the pension landscape in Europe and in other regions and is advocating the development of multi-pillar private pension plans in order to combat the facing demographic challenges. He is also publisher of the “Irrational Retirement Blog" where he explores why we behave irrationally when it comes to retirement saving and how to turn various behavioral biases around to help us save and invest more smartly.

STEPHEN GILLICK

Stephen is a partner and head of the Pensions team in Mason Hayes and Curran in Dublin, Ireland. The Pensions Team he leads is recognised as being class leading and they have won Pensions Law Firm of the Year Award as the Irish Pensions Awards 2022. Stephen has extensive experience advising on a range of pensions-related issues including pension scheme establishment and restructuring, and de-risking exercises.
Stephen is a member of several industry bodies and sits on the Pensions Council which is a statutory body that advises the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection on matters relating to policy on pensions. Stephen is a committee member of the Law Society of Ireland Pensions Sub-Committee and regularly presents in Ireland and abroad on pensions related topics.

NIKOLA DUJMOVIĆ

Sven has a long career in IT industry. Started back in nineties at Microsoft. His last two decades are interesting blend of corporate and entrepreneurial experiences. Sven made two exits, one with his own business consulting company InfoCumulus, and another one as managing partner in Five, a leading digital agency. Sven is now Senior VP of delivery in Endava, a large UK IT services company. Sven is a passionate windsurfer, runner and ex-squash player.

ŽELJKO KUKURIN

Ph.D. Željko Kukurin graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb where he received his Master of Science degree in Marketing. He also received his EMBA degree in International Management from the Bocconi University in Milan and his Doctor of Economics degree at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Pula on the topic of investments.
He started his business career in 2000 in Riviera Poreč, a member of the Valamar group. From 2003 to 2009, he performed managerial tasks in sales and marketing and worked on the development of strategic projects in the group. Afterwards, he moved to the position of Management Board President of Istraturist d.d. and cooperated with Meliá Hotels International in managing the tourism portfolio in Umag.
In 2015 Kukurin was appointed President of the Management Board of Valamar Riviera. He led Valamar's strong development and investment cycle of HRK 4 billion until 2019 which included portfolio repositioning, the development of 5 resort brands and a number of service concepts, several business acquisitions, internationalization of operations and strategic partnerships with pension funds.
Valamar was named the best employer in tourism for four consecutive years, and Kukurin was named businessman of the year in 2017. In his career, he has managed tourism investment projects worth more than EUR 1 billion.
Željko Kukurin holds a position in numerous national professional associations. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Imperial Riviera d.d. Supervisory Board.

LUKA OREŠKOVIĆ

Luka serves as Chairman of M+ Group, the largest Technology and Talent Services company in Southeast Europe which together with his team he grew from a local firm with 200 employees in 2016 to a regional leader with over 15,000 employees and over €300m in sales, raising < €100m funding including IPO, SPO and first ever European ESG bond, quadrupling share price in 3yrs. He is a partner at Prosperus Invest, the leading Adria region private equity fund manager, where together with partners he grew assets under management by 4x to € 200m in 3 years from joining.
He serves on the Board of Governors of Otis College of Art and Design, LA and was a member of RTL Digital Advisory Board, the Innovation Board of Rutgers University and the European Council on Foreign Relations. He was the youngest member in history of the Croatian President’s economic council, where he led projects with Al Gore and Elon Musk.
Luka co-chaired Harvard University’s Business and Government Seminar with Harvard Business School professors as the youngest ever program head of Harvard’s Center for European Studies.
While an undergraduate student at Harvard he was a journalist with The Economist, the Financial Times, Foreign Policy Magazine and Huffington Post and co-authored two books, published by Springer and Lynne Riener Publishers. His commentary regularly appears in the Financial Times, Politico, Wall Street Journal, Guardian, The New York Times, CNBC, Reuters and others.
Luka graduated from Harvard College with a concentration in history and Central and Eastern European studies.

JANWILLEM BOUMA

Janwillem Bouma is the Chair of PensionsEurope since 2015. He is member of the Board of the Federation of Dutch Pension Funds since 2014, Chair of the Board of Centraal Beheer Algemeen Pensioenfonds since 2019 and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stichting Pensioenfonds Hoogovens since 2019. Janwillem was a member of the Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group (OPSG) of EIOPA during the period 2015 - 2018. Janwillem worked at Royal Dutch Shell and Montae & Partners until 2019.

MATTI LEPPÄLÄ

PensionsEurope is the leading voice for funded pensions in Europe representing 25 European national pension fund associations covering over 100 million Europeans and € 7 trillion of assets.
Matti is a member and was the chair and vice-Chair in 2013-2018 of the Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group of EU supervisory authority EIOPA, a member of the European Commission’s High-Level Group of Experts on Pensions 2018 – 2019 and the chair of the World Pension Alliance 2018 – 2019. Currently Matti is the Chair of the World Pension Alliance, which covers pension funds from Europe, USA, Canada, Latin America and Australia.
Before joining PensionsEurope in 2011 Matti worked for 11 years for The Finnish Pension Alliance in EU and international affairs, investment policy and legal issues. In 1990’s Matti worked for the Finnish trade unions in collective bargaining, labor law and social policy. In 1986 Matti started his professional career at the Law Drafting Department of the Ministry of Justice in Finland.

MARTINA DALIĆ

Martina Dalić, PhD has extensive experience in the public and private sector, as well as international institutions. Ms. Dalić was appointed President of the Management Board at Podravka in 2021. During her time in the public sector, she held the position of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Minister of Finance. Ms. Dalić also acquired significant experience in the private sector, acting as President of the Management Board at Partner banka and Chief Economist at Privredna banka Zagreb. Additionally, Ms. Dalić acted as Resident Public Financial Management Advisor at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Furthermore, Ms. Dalić served as Deputy Chief Negotiator and Negotiator for four chapters in the negotiating team for the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union. Ms. Dalić is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. She also received a Master’s degree and the title of doctor of science (Ph.D.).

AGNIESZKA CHŁOŃ-DOMIŃCZAK

Agnieszka Chłoń-Domińczak, PhD, Professor at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics: Director of the Institute of Statistics and Demography at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, member of the Committee on Demographic Sciences at the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and leader of the SHARE 50+ Polish research group. She was a member of the 1999 pension system reform teams in Poland. In 2004 and 2008-2009 she was a deputy minister of labour and social policy in Poland. Currently, she is the Vice Rector for Research at SGH and deputy direction of the SHARE ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium). In 2021-2023 she was a member of the High Level Expert Group on the Future of Social Protection and of the Welfare State in the EU. She specialises in demography, pension systems, labour market, social policy, health and education.

JURICA JEDNAČAK

Jurica Jednačak diplomirao je na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Od 1997. do 2000. godine bio je suradnik na Institutu za međunarodne odnose, a od 2001. radio je kao voditelj Odjela za uvrštenje vrijednosnih papira na Zagrebačkoj burzi. U Hrvatskom Telekomu bio je zaposlen od 2003. do 2006. kao pomoćnik direktora Korporativnog sektora riznice, nakon čega prelazi u Direkciju investicijskog bankarstva Zagrebačke banke, gdje je bio voditelj Službe brokerskih poslova za korporativne klijente. Direktor brokerskih poslova u Zagrebačkoj banci postaje 2007. godine, gdje radi do stupanja na dužnost člana Upravnog vijeća Hrvatske agencije za nadzor financijskih usluga u veljači 2018. godine. Od 2013. godine do stupanja na dužnost člana Upravnog vijeća Hrvatske agencije za nadzor financijskih usluga obnašao je dužnost predsjednika Udruženja za poslovanje i posredovanje na financijskim tržištima pri Hrvatskoj gospodarskoj komori.

ANTE SALOPEK

Ante is an Assistant Director in the Financial Advisory department at Deloitte Central Europe, based in the Zagreb office. He possesses extensive expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, business valuation, financial modeling, debt advisory, and financial restructuring. Ante assumes leadership roles in both the Corporate Finance and Value Creation Services practice within the Zagreb office and the Energy group at Deloitte CE South.
His journey with Deloitte began in 2019, following a successful six-year tenure at the former Hypo Alpe Adria Bank d.d. (now known as Addiko Bank). During his time at Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, Ante held various positions, including that of an independent financial analyst for large corporate clients, capital market analyst, and relationship manager for SME clients.
Ante holds a degree in financial management from Baltazar University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, he is a CFA charter holder since 2018 and an active member of CFA Society Croatia.

ANTE KUSURIN

MANAGING DIRECTOR Ante Kusurin joined OEP in 2011 and is a Managing Director based in New York. During his tenure at OEP, Mr. Kusurin worked on investments in the industrials and technology industries. Mr. Kusurin is a member of the Board of Directors of Dragonfly Financial Technologies, Orion, W. W. Williams, and Infobip, a Board observer at Allegro, and has previously been a member of the Board of Directors of Rizing, Inertech, and Voltyre.
Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Kusurin worked in the Investment Banking division of NM Rothschild & Sons in London where he focused on the consumer goods and retail industries. Mr. Kusurin received his B.B.A. in finance from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, an M.Sc. in geography from School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford, and an M.B.A. from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.

GORDAN KOLAK

Gordan Kolak is CEO of KONČAR, Croatia’s largest exporter and regional leader in power engineering and rail solutions. Gordan joined the company in 2019 to spearhead the operational and financial transformation, with the aim of improving efficiency and profitability. He is focused on strengthening digital solutions and renewable energy sources.
As an expert in corporate, financial and organisational restructuring of complex business systems, he has successfully served as director and president of management boards of several top engineering and IT companies.
An active member of numerous business associations, he also serves on Supervisory Boards of a dozen Croatian companies.
He was President of the Croatian Association of Management Consultants and he lectured at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. In the period from 2015 to 2020, he was the Secretary of the Croatian President’s Office of National Security Council.
Gordan holds an engineering degree from the University of Rijeka, and a Master’s degree from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture.

SAŠA HUNJAK

Saša Hunjak is co-founder and CFO of Digital Assembly d.o.o. and Member of Management Board of Adria Digital Exchange d.o.o. Saša Hunjak is a seasoned finance professional with a unique blend of experience from the banking sector, having worked at Privredna Banka Zagreb d.d. and Erste&Steiermärkische Bank d.d. His expertise extends to the cutting-edge field of information technology, particularly blockchain technology. He is a dedicated professional who is passionate about merging finance and technology to create innovative solutions for the capital market while optimizing and enhancing existing financial products and protocols. Saša has a master’s degree in mathematics and physics from University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science, and currently is attending postgraduate studies in Financial and Company Law at University of Rijeka, Faculty of Law.

GERHARD SCHWARZ

Gerhard Schwarz is Head of Equity Strategy at Baader Bank since 2011. Prior to that role, he was in charge of the Equity Strategy team at HVB/UniCredit for 13 years.
His focus is on top-down drivers for European equity markets, valuation & market timing / style rotation models, cross asset class interconnections and Alpha strategies. As a key responsibility, he is in charge of selecting the Top Stock Picks from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Covering the regional core focus of the Baader Helvea Equity Research team, this product managed to deliver a very strong track record over the last 10 years.
Gerhard already had specialized on financial markets, portfolio theory and quant techniques when graduating in business administration at Augsburg University in 1993. He passed the CEFA exam in 1995. His total experience in sell-side financial markets research amounts to nearly 30 years.

IVANA GAŽIĆ

iplomirala je na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Zagrebu 1997. godine, smjer Financije, a 2001. godine završila je program Executive MBA na International Executive Development Center (Bled, Slovenija). Licencirani je investicijski savjetnik i stalni sudski vještak iz područja ekonomsko-financijskih poslova. Autorica je nekoliko radova iz područja odnosa s investitorima. Od početka profesionalnog djelovanja obnašala je neke od vodećih funkcija u brojnim uglednim gospodarskim i financijskim institucijama u Hrvatskoj.
Karijeru započinje 1998. u Plivi d.d., gdje radi do 2003. napredujući do funkcije voditeljice operacija na tržištu kapitala. Od svibnja 2003. do prosinca 2005. voditeljica je razvojnog projekta strateškog financiranja u svrhu regionalne ekspanzije kompanije Lura d. d. i asistentica Predsjednika Uprave.
Od 2005. do 2006. radila je u Société Générale - Splitskoj banci, gdje je obnašala funkciju voditeljice Odjela strukturnog financiranja i zamjenice voditelja korporativnog centra. U siječnju 2007. zapošljava se u Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank d. d. na funkciji izvršne direktorice Sektora investicijskog bankarstva (zaduženog za financijska tržišta, skrbništvo, upravljanje portfeljima i korporativno financiranje).
Nakon odobrenja od strane Hrvatske agencije za nadzor financijskih usluga, u svibnju 2010. preuzima funkciju predsjednice Uprave Zagrebačke burze d. d.
Članica je Nadzornog odbora povezanog društva SEE LINK Skopje, pravnog entiteta utemeljenog 2014., koji je nositelj projekta regionalne trgovinske integracije, u kojoj sudjeluju Bugarska, Makedonska i Zagrebačka burza. Nakon akvizicije Ljubljanske burze krajem 2015., također je i predsjednica njezinog Nadzornog odbora. Od prosinca 2020. godine članica je Nadzornog odbora društva Pan Pek d.o.o. iz Zagreba, a od svibnja 2021. članica Upravnog odbora Makedonske burze.
Članica je Savjeta HANFE i The Securities and Markets Stakeholders Group.
Tijekom godina usavršavala se putem stručnih seminara s područja bankarstva i tržišta kapitala. Sudionica je i predavačica na brojnim konferencijama i profesionalnim okupljanjima na temu bankarstva, financija i tržišta kapitala.
Usprkos kontinuirano izazovnom okruženju u kojem poslujemo, Zagrebačka burza uspjela je pokrenuti i realizirati više projekata bitnih za budućnost tržišta kapitala u Hrvatskoj ali i u regiji. Projekt SEE LINK, realiziran uz podršku EBRD-a, prva je prva platforma za razmjenu naloga u ovom dijelu Europe te će omogućiti burzama sudionicama da povećaju likvidnost na svojim lokalnim tržištima i približe se investitorima. Kupnjom Ljubljanske burze, Zagrebačka burza također se istaknula kao pokretač konsolidacijskih procesa u regiji. U prosincu 2019. godine stekli smo 5,3% udjela u Makedonskoj berzi. Kao dio strategije da Zagrebačka burza bude podrška kompanijama u svim fazama razvoja, Zagrebačka burza pokrenula je s partnerima iz Estonije 2016. godine platformu za „equity crowdfunding“ pod nazivom Funderbeam South-East Europe (https://www.funderbeam.com/see), koja je do sada uspješno realizirala desetak kampanja za financiranje start up i malih poduzeća. Uz to, 2018. godine pokrenuta je platforma Progress (https://progress.market/hr), kao odgovor na inicijativu Europske komisije - Unija tržišta kapitala, a koja ima za cilj omogućiti vlasnička ulaganja u srednja i mala poduzeća, koja su najvažniji faktor rasta hrvatskog gospodarstva. Zagrebačka burza je također, koristeći interne resurse postala licencirana za izdavanje LEI („Legal Entity Identifier“) oznaka, , a također je registrirana i kao autorizirana APA („Approved publication arrangement”). Svi razvojni projekti koje Zagrebačka burza vodi, usmjereni su na regiju, a prvenstveno na tržišta Hrvatske i Slovenije, na kojima Zagrebačka burza upravlja uređenim tržištima.

TOMISLAV GRAČAN

Diplomirao je na Pravnom fakultetu u Zagrebu 1997. godine, a 2012. završio je Executive MBA program na Cotrugli Business School.
Poslovnu karijeru započeo je 1998. godine kao vježbenik na Općinskom sudu u Đurđevcu gdje je nakon položenog pravosudnog ispita nastavio raditi i kao sudski savjetnik. Krajem 2001. godine prelazi u Zagrebačku banku d.d., gdje radi kao pravni specijalist u Podružnici Bilogora, Podravina i Prigorje te u Direkciji pravnih poslova. Početkom 2003. godine postaje savjetnik Uprave u društvu Dioki d.d. obavljajući poslove iz domene organizacijskog i troškovnog restrukturiranja društva.
U HVB Leasing Croatia d.o.o. prelazi u rujnu 2004. godine na poziciju savjetnika Uprave za pravne poslove. Integracijom društava HVB Leasing Croatia d.o.o. i Locat leasing Croatia d.o.o. u društvo UniCredit leasing Croatia d.o.o. postaje direktor Sektora operativnih poslova, da bi u rujnu 2008. godine karijeru nastavio u društvu Hypo-Leasing Kroatien d.o.o., gdje kao savjetnik Uprave za operativne poslove radi na poslovima restrukturiranja društva.
Nakon odobrenja od strane Hrvatske agencije za nadzor financijskih usluga, u svibnju 2010. počinje obnašati dužnost člana Uprave Zagrebačke burze d. d.
Član je Nadzornog odbora Ljubljanske burze i direktor društva Adria Digital Exchange d.o.o.

DAVOR ZORIČIĆ

Davor is the State Secretary in Ministry of Finance in charge of the Directorate for Financial System and Economy and the Directorate for State owned Enterpraces, Concessions and State Aid.
He also serves as the Associate Professor Faculty of Economics and Business responsible for conducting seminars and lectures at all levels of university studies primarily in the field of business economics. He teaches: Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Capital Budgeting and Derivatives among other courses. During his career Davor has published a number of scientific research papers in the field of Corporate Finance and Investment analysis. He is also an active participant of scientific conferences.
He is a memeber of the non-profit professional organizations: Croatian Statistical Association, Croatian Operational Research Society and Croatia Association of Financial Analysts and was also a memeber of the organizing committee of International Statistical Conference in Croatia (ISCCRO).
Davor was serving as a member of the Supervisory Board and president of the Audit Committee of Centtral Depository and Clearing Company (SKDD), a central securities depository and clearing company located iz Zagreb, Croatia.

ANTE ŽIGMAN

Ante Žigman, PhD, is the President of the Board of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa), whose scope of competence includes a wide range of financial non-banking services, from regulation and supervision of the capital market, through insurance to investment and pension funds.
Since June 2023, he has been a member of the Management Board of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), while he had already been appointed Chair of EIOPA’s Risks and Financial Stability Steering Committee. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) as the representative of the CEET region (Central and Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia). He has been actively participating in the work of these international organisations.
Prior to his appointment as the Head of Hanfa, he held a number of important functions, some of them being Assistant Minister of Finance for Macroeconomic Analysis and Planning, followed by Secretary of State at the Ministry of Finance. He also served as the Vice President of the Committee for Fiscal Policy of the Croatian Parliament, and member of the Economic and Financial Committee's Sub-Committee on EU Sovereign Debt Markets (ESDM). In the banking sector, he was a Board Member of Partner Banka, as well the Head of Macroeconomic and Financial Research Division and the Chief Economist at the Raiffeisen Bank in Croatia. He spent a significant part of his career at the Croatian National Bank, where he worked at the Office of the Governor until being appointed to the current position.
He has written numerous scientific and expert papers in the field of fiscal policy and finance and is an active lecturer in the area of economics and finance.

JURICA JEDNAČAK

Jurica Jednačak graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. From 1997 to 2000, he was an associate of the Institute for International Relations, and since 2001 he worked as the Head of the Securities Listing Department at the Zagreb Stock Exchange. From 2003 to 2006, he was Assistant Head of the Corporate Treasury Division, after which he got employed with Zagrebačka banka where he performed the function of the Head of Brokerage Service for Corporate Clients, while in 2007, he became the Head of Brokerage.
From 2013 until February 2018, when he was appointed member of the Board of Hanfa, he served as president of the Business Activities and Financial Markets Intermediation Association with the Croatian Chamber of Economy.

BORIS VUJČIĆ

Boris Vujčić, was born in Zagreb on 2 June 1964. He graduated in 1988 and received his doctor's degree in 1996, both from the Zagreb Faculty of Economics. He worked as assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb from 1989 to 1997, when he was appointed assistant professor. As a Fulbright fellow he attended doctoral study at the Department of Economics, Michigan State University, USA, in the period between 1994 and 1995. In 1995/1996 he worked in the European Commission in Brussels, first as a trainee, and then as an external advisor in the Monetary Matters Department. From December 1996 till his appointment as Deputy Governor of the CNB he worked as Director of the CNB Research Department. Boris Vujčić was appointed Deputy Governor of the Croatian National Bank on 15 July 2000 pursuant to the decision of the Croatian Parliament. On 13 July 2006, the Croatian Parliament reappointed Deputy Governor Vujčić for a second six-year term of office. From 2005, Mr Vujčić was also Deputy Chief Negotiator in the Republic of Croatia's negotiations with the European Union. He has been a member of the General Council of the European Central Bank since 2013 and a member of the European Systemic Risk Board's Steering Committee and Chairman of the Vienna Initiative 2.0 Steering Committee since 2016 . Governor Vujčić has been a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank since 1 January 2023, when Croatia joined the eurozone.
Mr Vujčić has been an associate professor at the Zagreb Faculty of Economics since 2003. At the Zagreb Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics, he has lectured as visiting professor since 2004. Mr Vujčić's fields of expertise and teaching include monetary analysis, labour economics and international finance. He is the author of numerous scholarly papers on economic issues. During his career he was a visiting scholar/lecturer at different Universities, such as U. of Sussex, U. of Freiberg and U. of Kentucky, he worked as external collaborator for the International Labour Organization (ILO), he was on editorial boards of journals, like Comparative Economic Studies, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Center for Financial Innovation and Financial Stability, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, a Board Member of the Global Development Network, etc.
In 2018, Boris Vujčić was awarded Central Bank Governor of the Year for Central and Eastern Europe by the publication GlobalMarkets and magazine The Banker named him the Best European and Global Central Bank Governor. In 2021, the Executive Board of the Central Bank of Hungary presented him with the prestigious Lamfalussy Award, a coveted international award honouring his long and successful career, placing special emphasis on his achievements in the successful process of Croatia's EU integration, including its accession to the European Exchange Rate Mechanism II.
Pursuant to the decision of the Croatian Parliament, Boris Vujčić assumed office as Governor of the Croatian National Bank on 8 July 2012. On 13 July 2018, the Croatian Parliament reappointed him for his second six-year term of office.
